Anti-Spam Question:

Brooklyn, one of New York's five boroughs was named after the Dutch town of Breukelen, and was independent until 1898 when it became consolidated into New York. The U.S. Census Bureau, has stated that Brooklyn is 96.9 miles, with approximately 70.6 of those miles consisting of land, and the other 26.3 miles being made up of water. There are more than 2.5 million people currently residing in Brooklyn, making it the most densely inhabited borough in New York.

Brooklyn is known for many things, but what first comes to mind for many people is the historic Brooklyn Dodgers who played at Ebbets Field from 1913 through 1957. A memorable point in history took place at Ebbets Field, when Jackie Robinson took the field wearing his Dodger uniform in 1947, making him the first African American baseball player in the MLB.

Another attraction in Brooklyn is the legendary Coney Island, which was built as a place of amusement for the wealthy in the early 1900's. In 1927 the Cyclone rollercoaster was added to the tourist destination, and has since been added to the National Register of Historic Places. Coney Island also plays host to the annual Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest which takes place every 4th of July, and draws crowds in the tens of thousands.

There are many public and private learning institutions throughout Brooklyn, including Brooklyn College, Medgar Evers College, and Brooklyn Law School. In addition to the many schools in the areas, the borough has 58 library branches, which places each Brooklyn resident within half a mile of a library. Another great center of culture is the Brooklyn Museum which houses an extensive collection of artwork from around the globe.

5 Ken was my relentless advocate every step of the way

I was facing a life with a marked physical disability and unable to work, but things changed for the better the moment I called Ken Halperin. Ken was my relentless advocate every step of the way with his cool and calm personality. I can't thank Ken and everyone from Wingate Russotti and Shapiro enough because without all their hard work this settlement would have never gotten done.
