Kathy is a former registered professional nurse who has obtained millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements for clients including representing the estate of the artist Andy Warhol where she prosecuted the hospital and nurses who attended him. Until 2005, she was a partner and head of the Medical Malpractice and Drug Liability litigation. During her tenure, the firm became extremely successful in the prosecution of complex cases and settling or winning verdicts because of the high level of attention to detail in all phases of the litigation. Today, Kathy provides both consulting services and continues to prosecute some of the most difficult medical and drug cases the firm handles. Over her 25 years of experience in these specialties, the practice has become very sophisticated and requires the ability to understand the medical issues and complex causation problems which a case can encompass. Because of her expertise, she can engage defendant health care providers and experts at their level of expertise during deposition and trial.
