Halperin recently obtained an $850,000 settlement after jury selection for a woman who was injured when the ambulette that she was a passenger in was involved in an accident with a taxi cab. The woman was employed as a health care aide and was in the process of transporting one of her patients to a hospital when the accident occurred. As a result of the accident, our client sustained reflex sympathetic dystrophy of her right upper extremity, which required multiple procedures to control the pain.
