$400,000 RecoveryNew York Motor Vehicle AccidentWRS Partner, Kenneth Halperin recently obtained a $400,000 settlement for a Police Officer that was injured in the line of duty. Our client was responding to an emergency call when his vehicle collided in an intersection with another Police vehicle that was responding to the same urgent situation. Despite the fact that our client was unable to remember the accident, his partner testified that the plaintiff did go through a red light but that it was still the other Police Officer's fault, who was traveling at a high speed at the time of impact. In consequence of the accident, our client sustained a fractured clavicle that required several screws to hold the bone in place, after his surgery. The case settled a few months prior to the scheduled trial date. |
