NEW YORK MOTOR VEHICHLE ACCIDENT
$290,000 SETTLEMENT

WRS Partner, Cliff Shapiro obtained a $290,000 settlement for an elderly woman who was traveling eastbound in her car when another car, traveling northbound crashed into the front of our client's vehicle. The Defendant was traveling at an extremely high speed and made an erratic left turn that resulted in a head on impact with our client.

Our client sustained a fractured right ankle and a fractured right tibial plateau with open reduction and internal fixation. She also suffered from a crushed left knee cap and a double fracture of her left arm. The Defendant had a $300,000 single limit policy with approximately $10,000 subtracted for property damage. Cliff was able to settle prior to schedule court date for the full amount available.
